Don't expect a fancy restaurant but the food is so good here who cares. And the family that runs is very nice. Plus you can't beat the prices. My favorite is the combo meal of beef tamale, cheese enchilada and chile relleno with rice and refried beans. It's better than those fancy restaurants that charge you a arm and a leg. I get it to go and they even include chips and salsa in my to go order. I highly recommend you try this place but get here early if you're coming for dinner as they close about 6 pm.
My favorite place to eat! The food is incredible and the prices are phenomenal!! I eat here weekly! This week alone is my 3rd visit!! Best sodas in town!! Authentic Mexican food, family owned restaurant!
Amazing food!!!! I just came here for the first time based on the great reviews and now I have been here multiple times in the last week. This place is amazing. Walked in and had a haze and smell of food being cooked to order. Meat is super flavorful, guacamole is made fresh, salsa is homemade and spicy! Food is not fast (which is a good thing) and damn it's authentic and tasty. I could eat the beans and rice all day! Wish they gave more chips as I love the spicy salsa! This is my new go to spot. I highly recommend you try it!
Friends from out of state wanted good Mexican food so I took them to my favorite restaurant and they loved it! She wanted authentic chili rellenos and he wanted enchiladas. We all left happy and full; just the way it should be!
Their prices had gone up a little bit in the last month but there's still quite reasonable. The food all looked like a typical combo plate that you would get anywhere but every piece of it was a little better than most other Mexican restaurants. Even the refried beans or tastier. The house margarita took me a little while to warm up to but I decided I liked it and it is a real deal.
Affordable and delicious sums it up quickly. They have a ton of options, there's like 70 options for their combinations. I had the three cheese enchiladas with double refried beans, it was $10. That's affordable. I cleaned the plate, delicious. I saw they had a house margarita for $4 and had to give it a shot, salt on the rim, was good for the money and there was indeed alcohol in there. I'm amazed at the affordability and quality. The location however is a little rundown, it could use some TLC, especially the bathrooms, the men's bathroom needs some work. It needs an overall deep cleaning. Looked like a lot of day laborers come here to eat, don't blame them, even their beer is priced right. Just a great place to grab an affordable meal. They have a jukebox, although it probably doesn't have what you want, mostly Mexican artists - lot of traditional music.
Great meal at 10:00 am on a Sunday. Glad we found it! Fantastic value for the $$.
